Porsche Penske leads after six hours

DAYTONA BEACH – Australian Matt Campbell led the Rolex 24 at Daytona after six hours.

Following the sixth full course caution, Campbell’s # 7 Porsche Penske 963 got past the #31 Action Express Racing Cadillac V-Series.R on the restart.

The #7 Porsche Penske was awarded maximum points in the first in-race segment of the Michelin Endurance Cup for leading at the quarter mark of the race.

Renger van der Zande, behind the wheel of #01 Ganassi Racing Cadillac, ran in the third position.

The sister #6 Porsche Penske received a drive-through penalty for failure to adhere to powertrain parameters and dropped to the rear of the GTP field.

The #04 CrowdStrike by APR Oreca of Malthe Jakobsen led the LMP2 class ahead of Felipe Fraga’s #74 Riley.

The #1 Paul Miller Racing BMW of Bryan Sellers led in GTD Pro in front of the #47 Cetilar Racing Ferrari 296 GT3.
